For many years, Reverend Ruth has answered a simple, joyful calling: to stand with two people in the moment they become one family. Ordained and legally authorized to perform marriages throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky, she has officiated ceremonies on mountaintops and courthouse steps, in rose gardens and living rooms, beneath spring blossoms and under autumn skies.

What she brings to every wedding is the same: genuine warmth, a calming presence, and a deep belief that love....in all its beautiful forms....is worth celebrating well.

Reverend Ruth believes that the sacred work of marriage belongs to everyone. She proudly and lovingly officiates same-sex weddings, interfaith unions, and ceremonies for couples of every background and belief. The rainbow she wears is not decoration....it is a promise.
